Review: Tonymoly Egg Pores Series

After procrastinating for a week, I have another reviews for you guys today. It's the Tonymoly Egg Pore Series. There are 3 of them which are Blackhead Out Oil Gel, Tightening pack, Silky Smooth Balm. I have been using them for over 3 weeks and I really like them. I have loose pores on my nose due to blackhead when I was teen and like a lot of people, I like to squeeze it out. I didn't do a good job and left some loose pores on my nose. I know I shouldn't do that. However, nothing much I can do now but try to minimize it. When I first heard about this, I really want to try it out. The egg pores series is a series of pore purifying products that clears out blackheads and impurities with egg and camellia ingredients.

First, I really like the packaging. It's really cute. They look so adorable and I can put them as a decoration. According to their ads, you can break the top part of the eggs and use it as a storage. I definitely like the concept of recycling the packaging. I'll give a 5 stars for that. However, there are not that many products in there even the egg pores look quite big. It's 30ml each for the Blackhead out oil gel and Tightening Pack but only 20ml for the Silky Smooth Balm. Even that's the case, I think it should still last me a while.

The egg pores series are like a 3 steps procedures for your nose pores. First step, you use the Blackhead Out Oil Gel, which is an exfoliator, to exfoliate your nose. Apply an appropriate amount of products onto areas and gently massage for 3-5 minutes. It should melt your blackhead through rubbing it in circular motion. The clear gel will turn white because it comes with sebum while massaging. Wash off with lukewarm water. After I washed it off, my nose does feel fresher.

The second step of the series is the Tightening Pack. This works as a clay mask for your nose. Apply an appropriate amount and spread onto loose pores. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes until the pack is completely dry. The pack will turn into matte nude colour when it dries up. Then, wash it off with lukewarm water. This Tightening Pack is my favourite one because it works amazing. My nose looks really matte and not oily at all after it. Due to my loose pores, my nose tend to be oily. It seems to be oily even after I wash my face. But this works magically on absorbing the oil on my nose and it really look matte and fresh.

Last step is apply small amount of Silky Smooth Balm and gently spread onto areas of loose pores. It is a balm that end all the steps above. The texture of the balm is silky and when I apply on it, I don't feel too much about it, besides it does matte your nose. I think if you want to save up some money, you should be able to skip this steps and use your own moisturizers. However, I think the purpose of the products are to control oil and matte your oily nose. That's why they use balm instead of moisturizers. In general, it is still a pretty good products and it does feel good on my skin.

Lastly, I would suggest them for those with oily nose like me. It might be a bit too dry for those with dry skin on their nose. If you have a dry skin on your nose and blackhead, I would suggest the Blackhead Out Oil Gel because it's a really gently scrub. However, the Tightening Pack and the Silky Smooth Balm do dry out your skin a bit. Overall, I love them and I would definitely re-purchase them again. Hope my review would help! ^^
