Review: RMS Beauty

RMS beauty is a new makeup brand that promote organic makeup. I first know about RMS beauty through Glymm. I was skeptical about it but I was curious, so I went ahead to get them last month using my $10 off purchases through Glymm website. They aren't cheap because the price range from $25 to $38. At first, I got their "Un"cover-up which is their concealer and one of their cream eyeshadow and I really love them. Last month, Glymm was having a coupon code for their subscribers and give out RMS Lip Shine in Bloom for free with any purchase, so I placed another order to get my free lip shine. How can I miss this since I really like RMS beauty. =) So I have 4 of them in total, so I decided to do a review on it.

"Un"cover-up is a cream based concealer. I really like this. I'm really picky about concealer because I have really bad dark eyes circle. The coverage of this isn't too great for covering dark eye circle but I do  still like to use it after applying my concealer under my dark eye circle. It gives extra coverage and last longer. Some of you might think that it's a lot of makeup that I'm applying but the formula of this concealer is really moisturizing and it doesn't cake at all. Of course, I'm not applying whole lot of it. Just apply tiny bit to give move coverage on my dark circle. Just be careful with the amount. ^^

The next thing I got is the cream eyeshadow. I got the colour in Lunar and Myth. Lunar is a shimmer cream colour which is great to use it as a base for your eyelids and it does hold your eye makeup longer. It can also be use as a highlighter on your brow bone and cheek bone. Myth is a redish-brown colour I would say, I didn't really like it that much when I first swatched it and kinda disappointed but I still tried it on my eyelids and I really like it. I would apply this alone on the days that I don't want to have too much eye makeup on. You can also use this colour for bronzing too.Another thing that I like about these eyeshadow is that they don't really smudge crazily on me even though I have oily eyelids. The ingredients of them are really natural and moisturizing. They are made from Coconut oil, Beeswax, Jojoba seed oil, Cocoa seed butter and etc. I'm not sure if they are 100% non-toxic but at least I know what most of the ingredients are.

Lastly, it's their Lip Shine in bloom which I got for free with a purchase. I got the Lunar cream eyeshadow with this and paid about $28 for them. So, I kinda spent $14 for each, which I think it's a great deal. I love this Lip shine. It looks like peachy pink on the pot but it's a really nice pink colour. I haven't really try them on yet because I just got them today, but I did a swatch and I really like the colour. It will be a great blush colour too. They have a Lip2Cheek which is more expensive. If you are someone that are tight with your budget and really want to try it out, I would suggest you getting this Lip shine because you can use it on your lips and cheek, just like the Lip2Cheek and you are paying lesser. Lip2cheek is retail for $36 while Lip Shine is only $25.

Overall, I really like RMS beauty products and they are organic and it is gentle to our skin, especially for those who have to wear makeup everyday. This would be a great option to pamper your skin with some gentle makeup. The packaging is nice and simple but I always have to flip it over to see if I'm getting the right one. =P So I always put them on the same spot, so I won't messed it up. The container might look small but it would last you forever. I would definitely repurchase them if I ever run out. ^^
That's it for my review on RMS beauty. Thanks for reading.
